The recent decision to ban the display of the menorah on the keywords Evergreen community building has fueled debate over holiday decorations in the little mountain district.

Some members of the Jewish community of Evergreen's were not ready to end the debate because of the large trees, adjacent to the popular community hub, still adorned with Christmas lights.
Colored lights on the tree is not considered by the Agency to be religious.
